STJ Opens New International Opportunities with Erasmus

The collaboration between the School of Travel Journalism (STJ) and Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs represents a valuable opportunity for students and professionals who want to develop entrepreneurial projects with an international perspective.

This initiative is especially aimed at students and alumni of programs such as the Master in Travel Journalism, the Master in Gastronomic Journalism and Communication, and the Dual Master in Travel & Gastronomic Journalism, further strengthening the global and professional outlook of the school’s academic pathways..

Through this European program, participants can undertake international placements within companies and projects across different countries, combining practical learning, networking, and real-world industry experience. In addition, selected participants may receive financial support of up to €1,200 per month to help cover part of their living expenses during the international stay, depending on the destination chosen. The program offers exchanges ranging from one to six months.

The initiative enables exchanges in more than 40 European and partner countries, including destinations such as Italy, Germany, France, Portugal, Ireland, the Netherlands, Norway, and Turkey, among many others, as well as Singapore, Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom.

Far from being a traditional internship program, Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs provides an immersive experience in which aspiring entrepreneurs actively participate in the daily operations of real businesses, collaborating in strategic, operational, and creative processes while receiving mentorship to help develop their own business ideas.

Through this collaboration, STJ aims to foster international talent, encourage entrepreneurship within the creative industries, and offer students transformative experiences that connect education, travel, and professional development on a global scale.
